Jet Aviation has opened its new 8,500sqft FBO and 30,000sqft hangar facility at Scottsdale, Arizona. The company has been operating at Scottsdale Airport since acquiring a share in the Scottsdale Jet Center using leased office space, tenant hangarage and tie-down spaces.
It has since completed construction and acquired full ownership of the jet center, now operating as Jet Aviation Scottsdale.
The company’s new state-of-the-art FBO and hangar facility features a lobby, passenger and crew lounges, pilot snooze rooms, a conference room, meeting room, and weather and flight planning facilities. It can accommodate aircraft up to the size of the Gulfstream 650 and the Global 6000.
“Scottsdale is one of the top 15 busiest business aviation hubs in the U.S. and our expanded facility will enable us to better serve the needs of our customers and the business aviation community,” said David Best, SVP Regional Operations and General Manager, USA.
Located in the heart of North Scottsdale, with easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment, Jet Aviation Scottsdale offers full passenger and aircraft handling services, including baggage handling, on-site customs, complete line service, aircraft cleaning, fuelling (Jet A-1), hangarage, aircraft parking, catering, hotel and car rental coordination, and award-winning concierge service.
The new facilities were built using cost and energy-efficient construction practices, and the company plans to install solar panels at the site later this year.
