The 2025 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, renowned as “The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration,” is scheduled to take place from July 21 to July 27 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This event marks the 72nd annual fly-in convention organised by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), attracting aviation enthusiasts from around the globe.
Event Highlights
Air Shows and Performances
Attendees can look forward to nine air shows over seven days, including spectacular night air shows on July 23 and 26. The lineup features top aerobatic performers such as Rob Holland, Michael Goulian, and Skip Stewart, alongside military demonstrations and skydiving teams like the U.S. Army Golden Knights. Daily afternoon air shows are presented by Daher and RTX, while the July 23 night air show is presented by Covington Aircraft.
Historic Aircraft Displays
A notable feature of the 2025 event is the reunion of the only two flying Boeing B-29 Superfortresses, “Doc” and “FIFI.” These iconic aircraft will be on display and are scheduled to perform a formation flight during the night air show on July 23.

In partnership with Boeing, EAA offers free admission to individuals aged 18 and under throughout the event. Youth-focused activities include KidVenture, educational workshops, and hands-on exhibits designed to inspire the next generation of aviators.

The 2024 event set a record with 686,000 attendees from 94 nations, showcasing its global appeal. The influx of visitors contributes significantly to the local economy, with past studies estimating an economic impact exceeding $170 million for the surrounding area.
